Drive-In Movie This Weekend in Poolesville

Bassett’s Restaurant in Poolesville will be hosting two showings of “The War with Grandpa” this Saturday night at a pop-up drive-in theatre in their parking lot.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the the Poolesville PTA. Tickets available here.

Bassett’s Restaurant in Poolesville has been bringing you country hospitality and friendly faces since 1993, where we strive to make you feel “like you’re one of our family”. Located in the heart of Poolesville, our restaurant is a real gem, the food is delicious and with high standards of quality.

We are proud to announce a family-oriented event that is designed to keep everyone safe and socially distanced in the comfort of their cars: Poolesville Drive-In Movie at Bassett’s!

We can all enjoy a fun night with cheer and great food, while maintaining all CDC safety protocols in place. Bassett’s brings it to you on January 23rd!

You are cordially invited to participate in this long awaited event and watch a family-friendly, heartwarming movie: The war with Grandpa! With Robert De Niro! This movie reminds us of the importance of our grandparents in our lives and how to have fun with them! A comedy for the whole family!

There will be two showings, one at 5:00pm and the other at 7:30pm. The ticket is per car (no limit on the number of people in your car, bring the whole family).

 Order delicious food beforehand by phone call or online, we will call you when your food is ready so you can pick up from the back door. Full bar is also available. 

Please feel free to share the news with your family, friends, and contacts so we can all see each other (through the windows) at the movie.

 A percentage of the tickets Poolesville PTA families buy will go to the Poolesville PTA to help with fundraising and activities. Contact your Elementary, Middle or High School PTA President via email after buying a ticket to let them get the percentage.”
