Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Rockville
Yesterday, March 29th, was national Vietnam War Veterans Day. March 29th marks the day in 1973 when the U.S. Military Assistance Command in Vietnam was disestablished.
In 2018, Montgomery County unveiled it’s Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Memorial Plaza in Rockville.

Located on Memorial Plaza in Rockville on the Government Complex Center Terrace
between the Courthouse annex and the Executive Office Building in Rockville along Route
28. The Memorial includes the names of 130 service members from Montgomery County
who lost their lives or were reported missing in action in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War.
There are four Montgomery County residents who remain missing. Dedicated in 2018.
