Local Breweries Team up to Brew Special Charity Beer
7 Locks Brewery in Rockville, along with True Respite, Ten Eyck, Homaide, Crooked Crab, and Olde Mother breweries are releasing a new beer this weekend called Deena’s Defiance.
The collaboration beer is to raise money for Deena, who was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was 20 weeks pregnant. She has since given birth to a healthy baby girl and is working through her chemo treatments.All proceeds from the sale of the beer go towards her gofundme.
Deena’s Defiance is a 6.5% ABV New England style IPA and will be available at 7 Locks Brewery, True Respite Brewery and select retailers in Maryland and DC.
