MCPS to Host Annual PRIDE Town Hall on May 26

Montgomery County Public Schools will be hosting their annual PRIDE Town Hall on Wednesday, May 26 from 6-9pm.

The event will include a keynote speaker, breakout workshops, and discussion sessions.

The town hall will be a virtual event and you can get information on how to attend here. More details are expected to be released soon.

Below is a list of some of the workshop topics:

-Gender Identity Norming in Schools (AUDIENCE: Students, Parents, Staff and Youth Service Providers)
-Mental Health Supports (AUDIENCE: Students, Parents, Staff and Youth Service Providers)
-LGBTQ Training and Resources for Staff (AUDIENCE: Secondary Students, Staff & Youth Service Providers)
-Respecting LGBTQ in Secondary Schools (AUDIENCE: Secondary Students)
-School Administrators Running Welcoming Schools (AUDIENCE: Staff and Youth Service Providers)
-LGBTQ Support at the Elementary School Level (AUDIENCE: Elementary Students, Parents, Staff and Youth Service Providers)
