Phase Three of The MoCo Restaurant Relief Fund Now Open

The Moco Restaurant Relief Fund is accepting applications now until May 28 for the latest round of grants.

Grants of $10,000 are available for new restaurants/recipients and $5,000 for restaurants that have received a previous grant.  Restaurants can apply here

PREVIOUS RESTAURANT RELIEF FUND GRANT RECIPIENTS 

If you already received or were approved for a Restaurant Relief Fund Grant through the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), you will receive an email about applying for a Phase Three grant. Please review Eligible Businesses section.

If you are on the list, and haven’t received an email from us about the Phase Three fund by May 21st, check you spam folder for a notification from [email protected]. Email us if you haven’t received any communications.

NEW RESTAURANT RELIEF FUND GRANT APPLICANTS

If you are a Montgomery County restaurant, caterer, food truck, winery or brewery that did not receive a Restaurant Relief Grant in Phase One or Two, you may be eligible for a $10,000 Phase Three grant. Please check to make sure you meet the eligibility criteria and access the application below.

To be eligible, your business is required to be in good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT). You will also be required to submit your SDAT number as part of your application. To check your standing, or to search for your SDAT number by the name of your business, please go to the state site.

All eligible grant recipients are required to:

(i) maintain records evidencing compliance with the requirements of the Eligible Grant for a period of five (5) years from the date of the Eligible Grant; and

(ii) permit any duly authorized representative of the Department or the State (MD) to inspect and audit all records and documents of the eligible recipient relating to the eligible grant.
