All Remaining Montgomery County Libraries to Reopen Today

All remaining Montgomery County libraries are reopening today. MoCo began reopening libraries in planned stages on June 1st.

Germantown Library remains closed for renovations, which include new flooring, new water fountains/bottle filling stations, new upper and lower-level service desks, sound dampening in the rotunda, painting of the stairway handrails, new shelving on the mezzanine, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) remediation throughout the building, including all restrooms.

  • Chevy Chase Library
  • Kensington Park Library
  • Noyes Library for Young Children
  • Maggie Nightingale Library
  • Twinbrook Library
  • White Oak Library

These branches will discontinue their Holds to Go service.
