Rockville Police Department Investigating a String of Thefts From Vehicles and a Stolen Vehicle

Per Rockville City Police Department:

The RCPD Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) is investigating a string of thefts from vehicles and a stolen vehicle. The incidents occurred on Sunday 08/08/2021 between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. in the North Farm area of Rockville.

The most recent incidents occurred on 08/21/2021 between the hours of 4:00 to 4:15 a.m. in the West End neighborhood of Rockville. Multiple suspects rummaged through the vehicles stealing personal items and one vehicle was stolen from North Farm. One citizen was assaulted in West End when he interrupted one of the thefts.

As a reminder, please keep your vehicle locked. DO NOT leave key fobs or keys in the vehicle or approach the suspects. Try to get the best description of the suspects and the vehicle they are operating and call 911.
