Update: Lanes are now open on River Road near Spur Wheel Lane
River Road at Spur Wheel Lane is closed due to a single car collision that occurred around 3:00am, according to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer.
Two patients were transported to the hospital after a Tesla veered off-road and struck a utility pole.
Pepco is currently at the scene.
