The nation’s largest community solar farm to be 100-percent dedicated to low- and moderate-income residents is kicking off in Montgomery County. On Monday, Ameresco, Inc. and Neighborhood Sun, in partnership with Montgomery County, will announce the first-of-its-kind solar farm bringing clean energy to thousands of residents. The project’s partners, along with Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, and other County representatives, will launch the project’s subscription campaign at an event at the County Executive Office Building in Rockville. Parking: Public parking is available on the lower level of the Council Office Building garage at the corner of Monroe and Jefferson Streets.
