Our Lady of Good Counsel High School Closing Early for Winter Break Due to COVID-19 Outbreak

Our Lady of Good Counsel High School at 17301 Old Vic Blvd in Olney announced today that it was ending in-person instruction several days earlier than scheduled for winter break after 21 students at the school tested positive for the coronavirus. The last day of school before the break begins was originally scheduled to be this Friday.

Mid terms were scheduled to take place for students on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week and have now been pushed back until January.

Last week Georgetown Prep announced that they were moving to all virtual classes after a similar COVID-19 outbreak.
