Shari’s Sweet Homes, a “virtual” Jamaican/soul food restaurant, will soon be available in Bethesda.
The food is designed to, “bring back memories of grandma’s Sunday dinner,” and the menu features items like curry chicken, jerk wings, Rasta pasta, oxtails, collard greens, candied yams, and banana pudding.
The new restaurant will be available for curbside pickup, online ordering through their website, and delivery apps at the end of March.
Owner Te’shari Orr started Shari’s Sweet Homes in September 2021 but was sidelined for several months due to COVID-19. They are currently in the process of finding a bigger space to expand and have customers come in for dine-in service.
