Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Teenager

For Immediate Release: Saturday, April 2, 2022

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigation Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Gaithersburg.

Nevaeh Castro, age 15, was last seen on Friday, April 1, 2022, at approximately 6 p.m., in the 400 block of Muddy Branch Road.

Castro is approximately 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 110-120 pounds. She has brown eyes and long black hair in braids. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, a white tank top, and light-colored pajama pants. Castro has a nose piercing on her right nostril and five piercings on each ear. She also has a belly button piercing.

Castro may be traveling with another missing teenager, Liz Salmeron- Banegas.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
