Montgomery County Police responded to the area of Apperson Way and Apperson Place in Germantown for the report of a traffic collision on Tuesday night around 11pm. According to MCPD, the striking vehicle had caught fire and subsequently caught other parked vehicles on fire.
Upon arrival officers located an adult male with a suspected gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. There are no suspects in custody at this time. This is an ongoing investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
