California based Dave’s Hot Chicken opened it’s first area location at 3301 14th St in NW, Washington, DC back in March. Dave’s Hot Chicken started as a late night food stand in Los Angeles back in 2017 and now has over 100 franchise locations across the U.S. The Raising Cane’s-esque menu features chicken tenders and sliders (with spice levels ranging from from “Lite Mild” to “Reaper,”) crinkle-cut fries, mac & cheese, and milkshakes. The chain will also be opening its first Maryland location later this year at 9900 Reisterstown Rd. in Owings Mills, MD.
