Update: Police Investigate Airpark Drive Single-Motorcycle Fatality

Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal single-motorcycle collision that occurred on Sunday, May 21. According to MCPD, “At approximately 3:04 p.m., 6th District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of Airpark Dr. and Muncaster Mill Rd. for the report of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle.

The adult male motorcyclist, was traveling on Airpark Dr., when for reasons still under investigation, he left the roadway and crashed. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is investigating this collision. A news release will be distributed once more information becomes available, including the name of the deceased following proper notification of next of kin.  Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact CRU detectives at (240) 773-6620.”
