Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 8:16pm on Tuesday, May 23: “MCPD is on scene investigating a shooting in the 19000 block of Misty Meadow Terrace in Germantown. One person was shot and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries More information will be shared as it becomes available.” According to public safety reporter Cordell Pugh, the shooting occurred around 7:40PM. The victim was shot multiple times and Montgomery County Police 5D Officers applied two tourniquets prior to EMS arrival. At least one round was found inside a nearby occupied residence.
