UPDATE: Ernestine Patricia Stokes has been located safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ernestine Patricia Stokes, a missing 86-year-old. Stokes was last seen leaving the 1200 block of Smith Village Road in Silver Spring on Monday, August 14, 2023 at approximately 7 a.m. She is 5-feet, 4-inches tall, 189 Ibs., with brown eyes and gray hair. Stokes is driving a silver 2016 Toyota Camry bearing Maryland registration, 2DF8964.
