“A landscaping employee from Rockville was relaxing with a nice cold beer after a long hot day in the sun when he decided to try his luck with one of his favorite Lottery scratch-offs. The Montgomery County resident bought four of the $5 Gold X20 instant tickets while at Daro’s Beer & Wine in Silver Spring and settled in for some Lottery fun. To his surprise, one of the games carried a $50,000 top prize! He scratched off six prizes of $5,000 and a 20X bonus over a $1,000 prize. The 54-year-old didn’t alert anyone in the business about what had just happened.
The lucky player plans to enjoy his prize with his wife and kids. He also plans to keep playing scratch-offs. Congratulations, also, to the lucky Lottery retailer.
