Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 8:22am on Wednesday, September 6: “TRAFFIC ADVISORY: A traffic collision has Westbound River Road closed at Springfield Drive. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route. Expect delays.” According to public safety reporter Cordell Pugh, the collision involved a school bus.
