Westfield Montgomery Mall is getting into the seasonal spirit with their Home for the Holidays Tree Lighting Celebration in support of Children’s National Hospital on Saturday, November 18. Award-winning content creators and best-selling authors, Penn and Kim Holderness of The Holderness Family will host the free celebration that welcomes the winter holidays. With over one billion views across social media, The Holderness Family will bring their signature brand of family comedy and joy to Bethesda, Maryland for the day. The duo are best known for winning Season 33 of The Amazing Race and chronicling their marriage and family life through hilarious videos for their eight million followers.

At 4pm, the yuletide cheer will begin in Nordstrom Court on the lower level with a spirited performance from the Gay Men’s Chorus of DC’s Potomac Fever ensemble. Next, the Maryland Youth Ballet will transport guests to the Land of Sweets with enchanting excerpts from the Nutcracker. To close out the concert, Rockapella will take center stage with soulful harmonies and pop-infused holiday hits in a cappella. The celebration continues with more live holiday music, a pop-up winery in the beautifully appointed Jingle Lounge, character meet & greets and deals throughout the center until 8 pm.

The evening crescendos at 5:30pm with a tree lighting ceremony of the mall’s magnificent 18-foot holiday tree, flanked by 211-foot fir designed by local, woman-owned design collective, Brightly Ever After; twinkling lights will illuminate Westfield Montgomery into a winter wonderland.

From 3 pm to 8 pm, Westfield Montgomery will have exciting deals from retailers, activities and giveaways throughout the center including:
