Animal Control and and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue (MCFRS) crews rescued a dog from a storm drain on Friday, November 11 in the area of Washington Grove Ln and Center St in Gaithersburg. According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, responders “removed storm grates, in turn scared dog out of pipe to waiting @mcfrs crew at other end.”
The dog was initially located by another dog. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
