Clarksburg Teen Charged with Attempted Murder After Germantown Shooting; Alleged to to Have Been in Possession of Firearm Inside of MCPS School 


According to Montgomery County Police, a 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged as an adult for a shooting that occurred on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Per MCPD: “Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District detectives arrested the juvenile on Monday, November 21 for his involvement in a shooting in the 20700 block of Crystal Hill Circle in Germantown. The suspect is accused of shooting into a residence on Crystal Hill Circle. No one was injured during the shooting. The victims contacted police to report hearing a gunshot and discovered bullet holes inside of the home.

Additionally, the suspect is alleged to have been in possession of a loaded Polymer80 privately manufactured firearm (PMF) with an extended magazine inside a Montgomery County public school. The PMF was recovered on Friday, November 17. Following his arrest, the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, possession of a loaded handgun, and other weapons-related charges. He is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
