
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision with entrapment on Wednesday, November 22 around 8am.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, a trash truck struck a car head-on at Darnestown Rd and Sugarland Rd. EMS evaluated three patients, all with non-life threatening injuries, including a Priority 2 trauma (serious injury) patient that was extricated after being pinned in their vehicle. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
Montgomery County Police tweeted the following on Wednesday, November 22 at 9:33am:“TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Darnestown Rd. is closed at Sugarland Rd. due to a traffic collision. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. Expect significant delays.”
