Montgomery Parks to Close Part of Sligo Creek Parkway This Wednesday

Per Montgomery Parks:  Montgomery Parks is alerting motorists and pedestrians about a closure on part of Sligo Creek Parkway in Silver Spring on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

What:
Road closure for tree removal

Where:
Sligo Creek Parkway between Wayne Avenue and Piney Branch Road

When:
Wednesday, December 13, 2023
9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (Rain date Wednesday December 20, 2023)

During the project, a parks contractor will remove six hazardous, dead or dying trees. The work is expected to be completed in one day.
