Per MCPD: “An anonymous tip to the Crime Solvers call center has led to the arrest of 24-year-old, Demetri Gaskins, of Washington, D.C.

On Monday, November 20, 2023, at approximately 12:43 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the Amazon Fresh in the 5400 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda (Chevy Chase) for the report of a commercial armed robbery.

The investigation by detectives has revealed that Demetri Gaskins, along with three additional accomplices entered the store and began filling bags full of items.
