“Powerball is picking up momentum as no one hit last night’s jackpot, but a $50,000 winning ticket was sold in Bethesda along with 19,370 other winning Maryland tickets with prizes ranging from $4 to $100. The winning numbers for the Dec. 13 Powerball drawing were 3, 8, 41, 56 and 64; the Powerball was 18. Check your tickets if you were in Montgomery County where a third-tier winning ticket was sold at Woodmont Market at 8227 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda. This is the 75th third-tier winning Powerball ticket sold in Maryland in 2023.
The next Powerball drawing on Saturday, Dec. 16, has an estimated annuity of $535 million and an estimated cash value of $257.6 million. Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.”
