Police on Scene of Shooting in Germantown

Montgomery County Police responded to a shooting on Thursday morning in Germantown.

According to police, “At approximately 9:30 a.m., MCPD responded to the 19500 block of Waters Road for the report of a shooting. An adult male victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”

There are no suspects in custody at this time and this is an ongoing and active investigation. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.

MCPD tweeted the following at 9:54am: “MCPD is on scene of a shooting in the 19500 block of Waters Road. The scene is secure at this time. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
