Rincon Peruano at 210 E Diamond Ave in Olde Towne Gaithersburg has rebranded as Chicken Bar.
The Peruvian restaurant made the switch a few months back but signage with the new name and logo was just recently installed. Menu items include ceviche, tamales, arroz chaufa, lomo saltado, and pollo ala brasa (charbroiled chicken). Chicken Bar also features live music and karaoke on the weekends.
In other Olde Towne Gaithersburg news, DMV Empanadas closed its location at 113 E Diamond Ave on December 17. This company has announced it will be opening its new location “very soon” at 560 N. Frederick Ave. (recently Kogi Grill) in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center. We will provide an update when opening information is announced.
