
Raising Cane’s will open it’s first Washington, DC location at Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave) on Tuesday, January 9.
Raising Cane’s started its expansion into the D.C. metropolitan region when its first area restaurant in December 2022 in Sterling, VA (45545 Dulles Eastern Plaza). The first Maryland location opened in Towson in January 2023 and both stores featured lines out the door for months. Last year Raising Cane’s opened Waldorf location in May, a Westminster location in July, a Gambrills location in September, and a Columbia location (closest location to Montgomery County) in November.
Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 in Baton Rouge, La., Raising Cane’s has more than 460 restaurants in 27 states, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates with multiple new restaurants under construction. The international expansion began in 2015. The menu is simple and focuses on chicken finger combos , chicken finger sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, sweet/iced tea, and Cane’s sauce.
