
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to Whole Foods Market at 5269 River Road in Bethesda for the report of a a vehicle into the building on Sunday, January 14.
According to reports, the vehicle was driven through the front door of the building and stopped in the back of the produce department. According to Assistant Chief with MCFRS David Pazos, units arrived to find two occupants with non-life threating injuries, both of which refused transport. A pedestrian was also struck, suffering minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
The scene has been released to Montgomery County Police and building management. The cause was still under investigation and not released. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
