Icy road conditions have closed Georgia Avenue (MD-97) in both directions between Bordly Drive and Gregg Road near Brookeville on Monday, January 15.
The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security is advising drivers to expect significant delays and to seek an alternate route.
“Road crews are working hard to treat & clear roadways for our safety. Drive slowly, leave more distance between cars, & give extra space & consideration for snow plows, work crews & public safety vehicles. Don’t crowd the plow!”
