“Fire in Ice” returns to Downtown Frederick on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3. The annual event features live ice carving demonstrations, food trucks, scavenger hunts, and “pyrophoric fire performances”.

According to the Downtown Frederick Partnership, “Each February, Downtown Frederick is transformed into a winter wonderland! The event kicks off on Friday evening with Fire Performances and a Live Ice Carving Demo, plus the opening of the Polar Lounge and Ice Games Center. Then, all day Saturday, visitors can view 100+ ice sculptures displayed all over downtown, catch Live Ice Carvings during the day, challenge a friend at the first-ever Ice Putt-Putt Course, be dazzled by a roaring fire tower at the Polar Lounge, and explore all that Downtown Frederick has to offer.”
