$100,000-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold at Maryland Royal Farms

A $100,000-winning Powerball lottery ticket was recently sold at a Royal Farms in Frederick. Full story below courtesy of the Maryland Lottery:

“Congratulations to the lucky Powerball player who bought a ticket in Frederick for the Monday, Jan. 22 drawing. Adding Power Play to the ticket doubled its third-tier prize to $100,000!

The winning ticket hails from Royal Farms #357 at 6730 English Muffin Way in Frederick. The winning numbers to match were 24, 25, 43, 52 and 63; the Powerball was 21 with a 2x Power Play multiplier. Maryland sold 8,213 winning tickets (1,180 with Power Play) in the drawing with prizes ranging from $4 to $100,000.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available HERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Click HERE to schedule an appointment.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity of $145 million for the Wednesday, Jan. 24 drawing and an estimated cash option of $69.7 million.”
