Former UFC Heavyweight Champion to Appear at Maryland Casino

Six-time UFC champion Stipe Miocic will be holding a free Meet and Greet event at Sports & Social Maryland at Live! Casino & Hotel (7002 Arundel Mills Cir #7777, Hanover, MD) on Saturday, February 17 from 8:30-9:30pm.

According to the casino, the Meet and Greet will allow fans to chat and take photos with Stipe Miocic in a UFC octagon ring leading up to a showing of the UFC 298 card.  To participate in the Stipe Miocic Meet and Greet event, fans can visit our website to register: https://events.fanduel.com/mmaevents298.

Stipe Miocic is widely regarded by critics, commentators, media and UFC President Dana White as the all-time greatest UFC heavyweight fighter. Miocic, a son of Croatian immigrants and Cleveland native, has the most consecutive title defenses in UFC Heavyweight division history and holds the division’s bonus record. In 2024, Stipe is going to take on Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones for the Heavyweight GOAT Title Fight (date TBD).
Miocic began his career with an Ohio-based MMA organization where he won his first five fights by knockout and within months was titled the NAAFS Heavyweight Championship. Miocic has been signed with the UFC since 2011 and established a 20-4 record which includes five “Performance of the Night” bonuses, three “Fight of the Night” awards and one “Knockout of the Night.”
Stipe is one of the most-beloved and best-known Cleveland athletes, as a world-renowned UFC fighter who is also a humanitarian, husband, father of two and serves the Cleveland community as a full-time firefighter/EMT. In 2019 he was named the Greater Cleveland Sports Awards Professional Athlete of The Year.
