UPDATE: The shelter-in-place at Clarksburg High School has been lifted.
Clarksburg High School is currently in a shelter-in-place Monday morning due to police activity.
Montgomery County Police tweeted the following on at 10:04am: “MCP officers are investigating a report of a trespassing person at Clarksburg High School in the 22500 block of Wims Road in Clarksburg. The school is in a shelter-in-place.”
A police spokesperson tells us that social media posts regarding a kidnapping at the school are inaccurate and officers are on scene for a trespassing call. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
