Irene’s Pupusas is now open at 811 Russell Ave in Gaithersburg.
The restaurant is located in the space that was recently occupied by Macondo Food Express, a Columbian restaurant that opened in September 2022. There are additional Irene’s Pupusa locations at 12391 Georgia Ave in Glenmont and in Hyattsville (Prince George’s County).
Menu items include baleadas, fajitas, pupusas, tamales, soups, tacos, yuca con chicharron, and more.
