Update: All lanes are now open
I-270 is closed between Old Georgetown Rd and the I-270 spur on Tuesday, February 20.
According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS), the closure is due to a medical emergency near Rockledge Dr.
We have been told that the highway reopened at approximately 12:05pm
