Pizza Monkey, a Detroit-style pizza concept, is now operating out of the Washington Rockville Elks Lodge #15 at 5 Taft Ct. in Rockville.
Owner Jason Hubbarth, nicknamed “monkey boy” in his youth, shares that he has been crafting Detroit-style pizzas for friends and family for over a decade. Inspired by the renowned Buddy’s Pizza, the originator of Detroit-style pies, Hubbarth is now sharing his passion with a wider audience.
Pizza Monkey is open/available for dine-in and carryout every Friday from 6 PM until the dough runs out, with delivery options through third-party apps slated to roll out in the coming weeks. Menu can be seen below:
