Update: A GoFundMe has been started for two people who were injured in the crash. Northbound Frederick Road (MD-355) is closed from Clarksburg Road to Snowden Farm Parkway due to a traffic incident; southbound lanes on Frederick Road (MD-355) are open.
A collision has closed both directions of Frederick Road (MD-355) in both directions at Snowden Farm Parkway in Clarksburg on Friday, March 1.
According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Pete Piringer, the incident involved several vehicles, including a dump truck and a passenger vehicle that struck a tree. Several patients are being evaluated for injuries.
Drivers should expect significant delays and seek an alternate route. A GoFundMe was started on Monday for two who were seriously injured in the crash.
