Signature Dish, a television program on WETA PBS that discovers and reveals the standout dishes at a wide array of the region’s best restaurants, will feature Rockville food truck Fire Pit Brazilian Barbecue and Wheaton’s Kantuta’s Restaurant Bar and Grill on its Monday, March 11, episode.
Fire Pit opened its food truck at 804 Rockville Pike in the Golden Arcade shopping center (across from the Ritchie Center/IHOP) in Rockville in October 2022. Less than a year later, the family behind the truck announced it’s planning a second location at the upcoming Solaire Social Food Hall in Silver Spring. Kantuta’s is located at 2400 University Blvd W and serves authentic Bolivian cuisine, including salteñas, trancapecho and carne asada.
Signature Dish airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. on WETA PBS and 8 p.m. on WETA Metro. After the episode has aired, it will be available to stream at any time on the PBS App. A preview for the can be seen below:
