According to a representative at the location, Castle Laser Tag at 9100 Gaither Rd in Gaithersburg will permanently close on Sunday, April 7.

The birthday party venue/amusement center, which opened in 2016, featured laser tag, arcade games, rope courses, and a snack bar that served pizza and wings.

Montgomery County’s only other laser tag venue, Shadowland at 624 Quince Orchard Rd in Gaithersburg, remains open.

About Castle Laser Tag: “Travel back in time to the world of castles and knights. The Wise Wizard will guide you into the multi-level environment of fog, lights and sounds. From the moment you venture inside, your adrenaline rushes as you navigate through the black light illuminated terrain, tagging your opponents while dodging their fire. At Castle Laser Tag the focus is always on creating an environment that is both fun and safe for our players. Whether you’re playing a solo game or here for a corporate event, you can chose to defend the castle from all other players or play as a team to develop strategies and face the challenges together. Whatever the adventure, the experience will surely bring fun and excitement.”
