A new stop sign has been added at a busy intersection in Montgomery Village, near Stedwick Elementary School and Montgomery Village Middle School.
Per MCPD: “New stop signs have been installed at Watkins Mill Rd. & Stedwick Rd., turning this into a 3-way stop. Remember to come to a complete stop before proceeding at this intersection. Let’s keep our roads safe together!”
The signs were installed last week, but Montgomery County Police are now raising awareness about them as some drivers continue to not stop.
