
The Adventure Park (16701 Norwood Road, Sandy Spring) has been nominated for best “Aerial Adventure Park” in the United States by USA Today. Voting begins May 1st and ends May 27th at noon.
Per the news release: On 5/1/24, a panel of industry experts and editors at USA Today nominated The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring Friends School for best Aerial Adventure Park in the
United States. The public will vote over the next month to determine who is placed in the top 10 and their order. Click here to cast your vote!
Over the last two years, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has been voted the #1 Amusement Park & Climbing Destination in the DMV by Washington Parent Magazine, received a recognition from Gov. Wes Moore, was named the “Olney Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year 2023”, and became the fourth park of its kind in the U.S. and the first in Maryland to complete the Association for Challenge Course Technology Accreditation program.
The Adventure Park remains a family owned and operated business serving as a fundraiser for Sandy Spring Friends School. A significant portion of all revenue generated from The Adventure
Park goes directly to the Friends School.
This is The Adventure Park’s first time being nominated for this award. The 10Best Readers’ Choice winners and their final ranking will be announced by USA Today on June 5th.
