The Icecream Yard ice cream truck is currently holding its soft opening with a limited menu.
The truck is located at Clarksburg Church (22820 Frederick Rd) and will eventually offer 18-20 premium ice cream flavors, milkshakes, Italian Ice, and smoothies. Its hours of operation for this week are Thursday 6:30-9:30pm, Friday and Saturday 6-10pm, and Sunday 12-10pm.
There will be an official grand opening event on May, 25. Details below:
“The Icecream Yard, a women-owned small business, is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening at its permanent location at Clarksburg Church, also known as The Clarksburg Yard, located at 22820 Frederick Road, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
Mark the calendars for our Grand Opening on Saturday, May 25, 2024. To celebrate, we’re offering free kids’ scoops for everyone between 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Our Grand Opening will have a wide variety of our delicious ice cream flavors and sundaes. Additionally, we are excited to introduce our exclusive “Yard Specials” menu, featuring unique treats such as the Taco Sundae, the Ferrero Rocher Shake, Soda Floats and more.
Throughout the summer, we will continue to expand this special menu with even more delectable offerings. We will be working with The Clarksburg Church, to bring various events at The Clarksburg Yard throughout the summer.
For the month of May, every Friday there is Movie Nights in the Yard.

After our Grand Opening, our regular hours of operation will be:
Monday – Friday: 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
