The Gaithersburg Police Department has officially moved to its new station at 16 S. Summit Ave.
The department had been located at its previous address, 14 Fulks Corner Ave, for the past 29 years. According to a police spokesperson, “the new location will provide much more functionality than our old station, such as DUI processing, temporary holding cells, multiple interview rooms, a fitness center, defensive tactics room, and a locker room.” The lobby is currently open 8am-9pm, seven days a week.
