Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar at 203 Crown Park Ave in Gaithersburg closed permanently at 3pm on Sunday, May 26. The reason we were provided by management was “lease disagreement and rent increase.”
Paladar opened in September 2014 and was one of the first tenants at Gaithersburg’s Downtown Crown. The restaurant previously had a location at 11333 Woodglen Dr in Rockville/North Bethesda that closed in 2018. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar was a “fresh, colorful, and fun Latin American restaurant inspired by Central & South America, Cuba and the Caribbean… best known for their hand-muddled Mojitos and freshly prepared guacamole.”
