Record Exchange at 8642 Colesville Road in Silver Spring has announced it will be permanently closing on June 9.
In a message posted on Record Exchange’s social media page, store representatives stated, “This was a hard and heartbreaking decision, but due to both financial and personal reasons, we are unable to keep the doors open.” All store credit/punch cards will still be valid for for the next two weeks.

Record Exchange has an addition location at 410 N. Market St in Frederick, MD that will remain open. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
