Montgomery County has announced that the 23rd Annual “Paws in the Park Dog Walk and Fest,” which is sponsored by the Montgomery County Humane Society, will take place from 12-4pm on Saturday, June 15, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg.
Per the news release: “The event will include a dog walk, K9 agility course and competition, contests and games for dogs and people (with prizes for winners), kids’ activities, music, food, vendors, special recognition for top fundraisiers, and goody bags with fun gifts (while supplies last).
Proceeds from the event help raise money to assist homeless animals and pets in need.
To register for the event online, go to Paws In The Park 2024 (frontstream.com). Online registration is $20 per person. Dogs and children 12-and-under are free. Registration at the event is $25 per person.
Dog owners attending with their pets must bring the dog’s proof of rabies vaccination.
Retractable leashes will not be permitted at the event.
