A Bethesda man is $250,000 richer after purchasing five winning lottery tickets from the Giant located at 7142 Arlington Road. Full story below courtesy MDLottery:

“An anonymous player from Montgomery County wound up with five Pick 5 tickets with the same number for the May 16 midday drawing. Was it a mistake or intentional? He didn’t say, but he did score a total of $250,000 in prizes.The Bethesda resident played two $1 straight bets on each ticket for the May 16 midday and evening drawings, using 73195 for his lucky number. He found Lottery luck at the Giant grocery store located at 7142 Arlington Road in Bethesda.

For its role in selling the $50,000-winning Pick 5 tickets, the Montgomery County Giant earns a $500 bonus from the Lottery for each ticket. Its total bonus equals $2,500.”
