Montgomery County Police have released additional information regarding a serious injury collision that occurred on Saturday, June 8 in Brookeville.
According to police, “At approximately 9:48 p.m., Montgomery County Police- 3rd District officers, along with Montgomery County and Howard County Fire Rescue personnel responded to New Hampshire Ave. near Gaithers Meadow Ln. for the report of a two-vehicle collision.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a Jeep was traveling southbound on New Hampshire Ave., approaching Gaither Meadow Ln., when it crossed the center of the roadway and collided with a Toyota traveling northbound.
Three adult occupants of the Jeep and the driver of the Toyota were transported to area hospital with serious injuries.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this collision. This is an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released when it is available.”
